Blackbird Songs is based in Austin, Texas and is a project of Haggard and Halloo Publications. We are a music community focused on bringing listeners a new song each day. We focus on underground musicians and provide a music driven forum for artists to gain exposure and find new sounds in each and every genre from any part of the world.

In exchange for posting an artist’s song we provide links to upcoming shows, albums, websites, social networking sites and any other venue to connect our listeners with the actual artist making the music. There are lots of new features on the way.

We welcome any and all musicians to submit their songs to blackbirdsongs.com.

Here are a few requirements to consider before submitting:

  1. Artist should create an account and log into the website. Username should be your band name. This helps keep your songs together and allows you to comment on other artist’s songs.
  2. Song must be in MP3 format. Any other format will not be considered.
  3. Include name of band, link you’d like added and a black and white photo of the band or artist in the email.
  4. Include something about the band, the song or a short bio. Some sort of text for the posting.
